Audi was the early master of the "Notch", infusing almost their entire line with them from 2005 to 2010 and beyond. But they wouldn't be the only ones to employ the notch in automotive design in this century. In fact, it was less than a year after the A3 and A4 that Honda Motor Company decided to slap some notches on their radically redesigned Civic.
